For Emerging Spiritual Directors

In honor of Reb Sarah B. Cohen, DSW, LCSW—beloved teacher, spiritual director, and guide—a scholarship fund has been established to celebrate her profound legacy and mark the joyful milestone of her 90th birthday. This fund will help to carry forward Reb Sandi’s lifelong dedication to compassionate spiritual direction through supporting future students who can draw inspiration from her example.

Hazzan Jack Kessler, z”l (1944-2024) was the founding Director of the ALEPH Cantorial Program and founding Chair of the Hazzanut Department. He served as Director of Studies in the cantorial school and was a member of the Academic VAAD.

Supporting the studies of Canadian students

Scholarships are available for Canadian Rabbinic, Cantorial, Rabbinic Pastor or Hashpa’ah students (ordination stream) in the ALEPH Ordination Program (AOP). The Scholarship Fund is open to all students in any of these ordination programs who have full-time residency in Canada.
